The Touro Synagogue is a 1763 synagogue in Newport, Rhode Island, that is the oldest synagogue building still standing in the United States,[1] the oldest surviving Jewish synagogue building in North America and the only surviving synagogue building in the U.S. dating to the colonial era. This was one of the first places we visited when we got to Newport. I wish I had a fish eye lens (or super wide) to make this fit and give a neat look. Oh well, it was neat to see the oldest synagogue in the US.
