A 360 "photo-sphere" I took while at Moraine Lake.
The drive to Banff was quite pretty. We hit the mountains and had to ask Sammi to take a snap out the window!
We found a great deal to stay just outside of the town of Banff, in Canmore, at the Great Rockies Resort. This was our living room

We found a great deal to stay just outside of the town of Banff, in Canmore, at the Great Rockies Resort. This was the fanciest shower I've ver seen. It had massage modes, music modes, jets, steaming, and more!
One of my absolute favorite views, and the home to one of my favorite photos, was taken here, along the Hoodoo Trail just outside the town of Banff. I took Sammi straight here. You can see some of the "hoodoo"'s in the middle left of the photo -- those white rocky looking stick thingy things.

Sammi loves all things red, so when she found these red chairs with a stunning view, of course she was a happy camper!
Panorama of the view from the hoodoo's trail. Here you can see Mt. Rundle, the Bow river, and a number of other peaks. You might even be able to see the famous "Banff Springs Hotel" .. aka The Fairmont.

We wanted a relaxing first day in Banff, so I took Sammi to Johnson Lake. We took a quick walk around part of the lake, and then drove into Banff for dinner.
Our friend Zack is obsessed with Patagonia, so Sammi and I made sure to stop by for a photo for him!
Another one of my favorite spots in Banff is just outside the town of Banff (or rather, it's basically part of town). Here is sunset from 2nd Vermillion Lake
One of my co-workers, Ann, recommended we drive 3 Sistesr Parkway for its amazing views. We left the town of Canmore and started the drive, expecting it to be a fairly quick drive, before we spent the rest of the day hiking. Boy were we in for a surprise (a good one ... we were so blown away that we spent most of the day in this area). Here's the view from Whiteman's Pond, along Three Sisters Parkway in Kananaski's county
Our next stop was the beutiful Spray Lakes Resevoir. You can see people really enjoy relaxing in this spot. Look at those mountains!
More from Spray Lakes. The theme for this day was basically drive 2 minutes, see something amazing, get out of the car, enjoy it, get back in .... repeat.
Some epic peaks. Can you imagine this with snow?!
This was probably my favorite view of the day. I love how the mountains all came together, with layers, and a few clouds for some interest.

I couldn't help myself. We'd drive a few feet, then have to stop and get out. I thought a pano was justified here!
